Join Us For an Event!
Take a look at our calendar to see all the events that are scheduled. Below are a few events that happen regularly at the library.
Storytime
Storytime is led by director, Mrs. Savannah Gilbert, each Tuesday at 10 am. During storytime children learn a sign language hello and good bye song that we sing each week and storytimes are themed each week. Depending on the theme, we have games, crafts, coloring pages, and songs/dances. Some of our previous themes have been: scarecrows, nature, trees, bugs, recycling, various holidays, fish, various animals, and so much more.
Teen Advisory Board
Teen Advisory Board or TAB meets on the fourth Thursday of each month at 3:30 pm in the conference room. Teens aged 12 – 18 are invited to attend in person or virtually and this is a great opportunity for teens to tell the director what it is they want from the library in terms of books, programs, and events.
Adult Book Club
Adults aged 18 and up are invited to attend book club on the second Thursday of each month at 5:30 pm. We read a wide variety of authors and genres. We meet each month to discuss the book we read during the previous month.
